McCutcheon, LLC provides clients with uncompromising analysis coupled with unbiased advice and recommendations, to support critical improvements in organization effectiveness.  While we specialize in executive compensation, we actively serve clients as the trusted advisor in all issues involving organization design and effectiveness at the executive level -- creating the management systems to enhance the organization's ability to execute their business strategy.

Our Approach

We approach client issues from the perspective of managing the performance risk in the business strategy.  Our experience has proven that substantial business risk in created when executive compensation levels, executive incentive and wealth accumulation opportunities and performance/pay metrics are not aligned with business strategy.  Similarly, the organization dramtically increases performance risk when talent management processes are not aligned with business requirements and executive compensation and incentive arrangements.

At McCutcheon, LLC, we approach each client engagement by providing a holistic assessment of the organization's executive compensation and performance system.  Just as the fiduciary responsibility of the compensation committee has shifted from "amount of pay" to "alignment of pay", our view of executive team effectiveness has evolved from alignment of financial incentives alone to a more wholistic view of managing the executive efffectiveness equation.

As advisors, we believe absolute
independence is essential and unlike many firms, we will serve only one client within a firm.  Furthermore, we have no financial relationship with any HR outsourcing, actuarial, insurance, investment or other related business service provider, and have no incentive to direct clients towards specific solutions.
